Touhai Densetsu Akagi - Yami ni Maiorita Tensai[Complete]
On a cold and stormy night, Shigeru Akagi crawled out of the ocean, stumbled into a dingy waterfront Mahjong parlor and into a rough Mahjong game. Nangu was in heavily in debt and had been offered a chance to gamble away his debts by the yakuza. If that did not work, they had made sure that his life insurance policy would more than cover what he owed them. That evening’s tiles had not been kind to Nangu and with nothing left to lose, he decided to take a chance and let the thirteen-year-old Akagi play in his place. The events of that evening are still quietly spoken about and of how a rank-beginner beat the yakuza rep (or professional) player. It was that night that the legend of Akagi - the genius or monster of the Mahjong game - was born.

Kippei is a ladies man. Always in trouble for flirting in class, after class, anytime he can. So it is some big surprise to him when he gets saddled with watching Yuzuyu, a cute little girl.
Yuzuyu's mother has gone missing, and so Kippei's family is watching her until her mother can be found. Of course, since Kippei could use a few lessons in responsibility, he is the "best" choice for the job.
This story is working out to be very cute. Kippei's natural "mother" instinct is really brought to the front while trying to to his best for Yuzuyu, but he is a boy. His ineptitude regarding the smallest things a mother would need to know [like packing a lunch for school] are endearing rather than hokey, and the character of Yuzuyu is cute, without being overly so.

Continuing where the first series left off, it follows Craft Lawrence a experienced traveling merchant and his sharp tongued wolf god companion Horo on their journey to return to Horo's home to the north called Yoitsu. A tender relationship has blossomed between the characters, as they make deals, travel between cities, encounter religious fanatics or vice versa and mostly just do what a traveling merchant has to do to get by.
